Act for Carrying the sheep or Coues from the May

The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell doe heirby approve of what the Lord High Chancelor hes done in Recommending to Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander in cheiff of their Majesties forces uithin this Kingdome To Cause Carray auay from the Isle of the May the sheep or Coues which were therin and2 feeding therupon And to remove the garrisone which hes been keeped in the said Island In respect the rebells in the Bass have at severall tymes supplied themselves uith sheeps or other Catle from that Island And discharges […] Cunyngham of Barns who is propriator of the said Island to putt or suffer to be putt therinto any Sheeps or other beasts which if seised by the saids rebells may be usefull or helpful unto them so long as the said Island shall Continow in the hands of the rebells And ordaines him to find Caution for that effect in the Councell books under the paine and penaltie of being Judged and treated as ane Corresponder uith the rebells in the said Island And ordaines Letters of horning to be direct heiron at the Instance of their Majesties Sollicitor for charging the said […] Cunynghame of Barnes to the effect forsaid upon tuenty four hours if he be uithin the burgh of Edinburgh otheruayes within six dayes
