Anent the Earle of Abboyne and his brother

It being moved by the Earle of Strathmore That the Earle of Abboyne and his brother desired a pass from Flanders to returne to this Countrie And It being moved by a member that these Gentlemen Have been in the dominions belonging to the French King since the first of Agust Jaj vic nyntie thrie which is declared treasone by express act of parliament The Councell refused to medle in that matter but did Lett the same fall
