Anent the Earle of Abboyne and his brother

It being moved by the Earle of Strathmore That the Earle of Abboyne and his brother desired a pass from Flanders to returne to this Countrie And It being moved by a member that these Gentlemen Have been in the dominions belonging to the French King since the first of Agust J^aj vi^c nyntie thrie which is declared treasone by express act of parliament The Councell refused to medle in that matter but did Lett the same fall
