Recommendatione to The Lord Advocat to speak with Sir Thomas Livingstoun Anent deficient men In Lanerkshire
The which day Sir James Steuart their Majesties Advocat Having acquanted the Lords of their Majesties privie Councell That the Lord Blantyre by his Letter to him Hes signified That the Commissioners of supplie uithin the shire of Lanerk had prepared the men wherin they uere deficient in the new Levies And were ready to have delyvered them at Glasgow upon the tuenty fourth day of Apryle Last by past Conforme to the saids Lords their order But that ther uere noe officers at that place appointed to receave them The saids Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Doe Heirby Recommend to the said Lord Advocat before procedure in this affaire to speak with Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander in Cheiff of their Majesties forces uithin this Kingdome anent the same That the said Sir Thomas may appoint a new day and designe and house in Glasgow for delyvering and receaving of the above deficients That the Lord Advocat may signifie the same to the Commissioners of supplie of the said shire
