Recomendation to Sir Thomas Liveingston for shiping a man in place of John Watson
The Lords of their Majesties privy Councill Considering that John Watsone in Kilforgie who was shiped aboard James Ninoes ship as one of the Levies to be transported for Flanders is now prisoner in the Tolbooth of Edinburgh They heirby Recomend to Sir Thomas Liveingstoune Comander in Cheif of their majesties forces within this kingdome to cause ship any of the Levies aboard the said ship in place of the said John, And Declairs incase the said John shall be found to be legally put out then he shall be put in the place of the person whom Sir Thomas shall order to be shiped in his place, And in case It shall be found that the said John is not legally put out then the Councill will ordaine […] Mercer of Melgins one of the heritors of Pearth shire by whom the said John is put out to furnish and deliver another suficient man in his stead for their Majesties service in the termes of acts and proclamationes of Councill
