Act The Viscount of Oxfoord
Anent the petition given in to the Lords of their Majesties privie Councill By Robert Viscount of Oxfoord Sheuing That their Lordships having been pleased upon account of his Indispositione of body in the Castle of Stirling To allow his Coming from thence to his house at Cranstoun And to supersede his returne to the said Castle till the first day of Apryle It is now humbly represented to their Lordships That the air of that place noe wayes aggreing with his Constitution His Life and health will be Indaingered by his returne therinto And besyds he hath diverse bussines in the session and other wayes which requyres his being neer the same And therfore Humblie Craving their Lordships to allow him to remaine att his house of Cranstoun And he shall find Cautione to keep his Confynment and appear when called as the said petition Bears The saids Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Having Considered the said petitione They heirby allow the petitioner to remaine Confyned at his oune house at Nether Cranstoun and tuo mylls about the same untill he be Called or requyred to appear Before the Lords of privie Councill And discharges him to goe uithout the bounds of his said Confynment The petitioner first before extracting heirof Giving bond and finding sufficient Caution acted in the books of privie Councell That he shall appear before the saids Lords whensoever he shall be Called or requyred And in the mean tyme that he shall keep his said Confynment and not goe uithout the bounds of the same And that he shall Live peacably under and uith all submission to the present government of their Majesties King William and Queen Mary And that he shall not Act Consult nor Contryve any thing In prejudice therof nor Converss or Correspond uith any rebells under the penaltie of Tuenty Thousand merks scotts In caise he shall transgress In any pairt of the premisses
