Anent the petitione given In to the Lords of their majesties privie Councell By Sir William Bruce of Kinross sheuing That wher the petitioner hes been by their Lordships sentence Confyned to his oune house at Kinross these severall months bygone which he hath exactly keeped And seing he hath severall affairs at Law and others that necessarly requyre his presence at Edinburgh as is nottour to many of their Lordships And therfore Humbly Craving their Lordships to allow the petitioner for some tyme to Come to Edinburgh as their Lordships shall think fitt And he is Content to Find Cautione to returne to his Confynment at the day their Lordships shall appoint and Keep the samen as their Lordships have already ordained as the said petition bears The saids Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Having Considered the above petitione They heirby allow the petitioner to Come to Edinburgh for attending his affairs untill the tenth day of Agust nixt In respect the petitioner Hath given bond and Found sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privy Councell That he shall returne to and abyde uithin the place of his said Confynment against the said day and not goe uithout the bounds of the same under the penaltie of fyve Hundreth pounds sterling In caise he shall transgress In any pairt of the premisses
