Warrand for detaining Richard Puline in prisone
Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander in cheiff of their Majesties forces uithin this kingdome Having represented to the Lords of their Majesties privy Councell That Conforme to a Commissione which was produced and read in Councell given by the Earle of Donegald in Ireland to Collonell Thomas Forbess for Impledging suing arreasting and otherwayes securing the persone of Richard Puline late servant to the said Earle for the Crymes mentioned in the Commissione And desyring all persones in Scotland to assist the Collonell in prosecuting the said Richard That he the said Sir Thomas had Caused Imprisone the said Richard uithin the tolbooth of the Cannongate The saids Lords doe heirby approve approve2 of what the said Sir Thomas hes done in Causing Imprisone the said Richard And ordaines him to remaine prisoner uithin the said tolbooth untill farder ordor of Councell And in the mean tyme alloues him to have the3 Coppie of the said Commissione And ordaines him to give in his ansuers for clearing himself of the Crymes therin charged upon him
