Att Edinburgh the nynteenth day of June Jaj vic nyntie four years

Procedure

Anent the Current parliament

The Lord High Chancelor Having acquanted the Councell That he had a Letter by ane express on saturnday Last from the secretary of state signifying to his Lordship That Mr Stevensone had given accompt to the secretaries of state That his majesties resolutions uas that the parliament was to be adjurned till the sixth of september nixt And that his Majesties Letter for that effect being dispatcht The pacquet boat wherin it was to Come was taken by the Enemy and the pacquet Cast overboard And therby the same was Lost The Councell resolved that seing they have emitted and proclaimed their Late Act appointing the members of parliament to attend at the dyet which the King shall appoint ther is noe more to be done by them but to waite his majesties Command for a new and particular dyet
