Act The Tennants of Linktoune of Abottshall

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Haveing Considered the Report of a Comittie of their oun number appoynted for reviseing the accompts resting be their Majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing That the Committie haveing Considered the accompts given in to2 them as resting be Collonell Richard Cunninghame his regiment of Foot (which is upon Scots pay) to the inhabitants of the Linktoune of Abottshall, with the instructiones of verificationes of these accompts They Find that ther are two articles of these accompts Excepted out of the report of the Commissioners of Supply aftermentioned Which two articles, The Committie have refused, And The Committie Finds the haill other articles of the saids accompts (besides the two refused articles) sufficiently verified and proven particularly be the recepts or subscryved accompts under the hands of the officers or souldiers of the said regiment, and particularly be the reports subscryved be the Commissioners of Supply within the shyre of Fyfe Bearing that the saids inhabitants have Deponed before them that the saids accompts are truely resting owing to them be the souldiers of the said regiment and partly both be recepts or subscryved accompts, and be the saids reports and Finds after the saids two refused articles are Deduced ther are still resting owing be the souldiers of the said Collonell Cunninghames regiement to the saids Inhabitants of the Linktoune of Abottshall The soume of Seven hundreth thrie 3 score thrie punds nyntein Shilling scots money and Finds that the haill articles of the saids accompts are truely furnished preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie one years. And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act Fourth sessione of their Current parliament entituled act for polemoney and of the proclamation of Councill dated the Last day of Jully Jaj vjc nyntie four years relative therto and Therfore It is ther opinion that the said soume of seven Hundred Thriescore thrie punds nyntein shilling scots money Is to be payed to the Inhabitants of the toune of Linktoune of Abottshall out of the said Polemoney and that the saids Inhabitants are to be Recommended to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties 4 Thesaury5 for payment of the samen accordingly as the said report in it self at more length proports The saids Lords Doe heirby Recommend to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties Thesaury To Cause payment be made to the saids Inhabitants of Abbotshall of the above soume of seven hundreth sixtie thrie punds nyntein shilling scots money out of the present polemoney.
