Warrant
Warrand for citeing the Laird of Cornwall.
The Lords of their Majesties privy Councill being informed that Alexander Stivensone in Captaine Andersones Company in the Lord Strathnavers regiment deserted from his Company upon the thretein day of December least with all his mounting and armes and that the Laird of Cornwall within two myles of Kilmarnock has seazed the said Alexander Stevensone taken his armes from him, and listed him to be put out in the new Levies, They heirby Appoint messengers or macers to cite the said Laird and gives order and warrand to Sir James Ogilvie their majesties solicitor to cause them cite the said Laird of Cornwall to Compeir before the saids Lords of Councill or their Committie anent pressed Souldiers to answer to what may be Laid to his charge in this affair upon the thrid day of Aprill nixt.
