Letter from the King to the Councill for adjurning the parliament
The Follouing Letter from the Kings Majestie to the privy Councill Being redd uas ordored to be recorded quherof the tenor folloues

Right trustie and uell Beloved Cousine and Councelor Right trustie and Entirely beloved Cousins and Councelors Right trustie and uell beloved Cousins and councelors Right trustie and right wel beloved Councelors And trustie and uelbeloved Councelors Wee Greet yow uell Wheras by our former Letter we did authorize yow to Adjurne our parliament to the fifteenth of March Instant And now our affairs not requyring that our parliament meet so soon It is our pleasure and we doe Requyre and authorize yow to Issue furth a proclamatione in our names for a further adjurnment of our Parliament from the fifteenth day of this Instant March to the fifteenth day of Junij nixt ensuing Requyring all the members to Give their attendance at that dyet In the usuall manner and upon the accustomed Certificationes For doing wherof this shall be yow uarrand And so we bid yow heartily Fareuell Given at our Court at Kensingtoune the 7th day of March 1693/4 and of our Reigne the fifth year By his Majesties Command sic subscribitur John Dalrymple
