Act Sir George Seatoun of Gairletoune

Anent the petitioner given in to the Lords of their Majesties privie Councell By Sir George Seatoun of Gairletoune Sheuing That wheras The petitioner having been prisoner in the Castle of Blacknes above these nyne or ten months by past To the Great prejudice of his health and detriment of his affairs uithout any tryall or examinatione or any thing made out of what was Laid to his charge And therfore Humblie Craving their Lordships to sett the petitioner at Libertie upon sufficient bale to Live peacably under the Government and to Compear when Called as the said petition bears The saids Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Having Considered the above petitione They heirby Give order and warrand to the Deputy Governour of the Castle of Blackness or other Commanding officer ther To sett the petitioner at Libertie furth therof And Confynes him to the toune of Dalkeith and tuo mylls about the same And discharges him to goe uithout the bounds of his Confynment In respect the petitioner hath given bond and found sufficient Caution acted in the books of privy Councill That he shall appear before the saids Lords whensoever he shall be Called or requyred therto And In the mean tyme that he shall keep his said Confynment and not goe uithout the bounds of the samen And that he shall Live peacably under and uith all submission to the present government of ther Majestie King William and Queen Mary And that he shall not Act Consult nor Contryve any thing in prejudice therof nor Converss or Correspond uith any rebells under the penaltie of one thousand pounds sterling In caise he shall transgress In any pairt of the premisses
