Act Lord Justice Clerk To Deliver to the Lord Advocat some papers anent Sir Æneas Mcpherson

The Lord Justice Clerk haveing acquainted the Lords of their Majesties privy Council that he hes Receavd severall Papers anent Sir Æneas Mcphersone Prisoner sent from London now presently in the Tolbooth of Edinburgh, and that his Lordship hes granted receet for these papers to the Secretary of State, And that he is willing to deliver these papers Conform to the following Note or Inventar therof to any the saids Lords shall appoint wherof the Tennor followes. Imprimis Three Letters from M: Levermore, nynth and Tuenty February last, Tuo wherof Direct to him the said Sir Æneas under the name of Mr John Smith, and a Third under the name of same Levermore. Item a reply to the answer Doctor Wallwood hes made to King Jamses Declaratione, Item a Supplement to his Majesties most Gracious speech Item a Letter under his oun hand of the fiftin of Januare Last Direct to Sir E: M: uith the answer to it. Item a Letter under his oun hand of the Threttin of February Last. Item a Coppie of a Letter to the Laird of Grant under Sir Aneas hand of the fiftin of Januare Last. Item a Letter Book, In which are Tuo Letters from Dunkirks of the Tuentie and Tuentie thrid of August Jaj vjc and nyntie thrie wrote be Sir Æneas. Item a Letter under his oun hand to Mr John Guthry of the Eight of Jully Jaj vjc and Nyntie thrie Item a Coppie Sir Æneas Oath, Anno Jaj vjc Nyntie one Item a Letter wrot and signed by Sir Æneas to Secretary Johnstoune Item a Letter wrote by him to one of his Children. Item Sir Æneas his Engagement to Discover all upon Oath which is wrote and signed by him the Tuenty of March Jaj vjc Nyntie thrie and four. Item a Letter wrote by him marked on the back A: B; Item a Letter under his hand of the sixtin of Januare last to mr Moses Levermor. Item a Letter signed D: B: of the Tuentie of Januare Last to Sir Æneas under the name of Mr Smith, Item Information of Kathrin Steuart against Sir Æneas. The saids Lords of their Majesties Privy Council apoynts the Lord Justice Clerk to give in the wrytes conforme to the saids note or Inventar to Sir James Steuart their Majesties Advocat. Which having bein done accordingly, The saids Lords Declares that ane Extract herof shall be a sufficient Exoneratione to the said Lord Justice Clerk of the saids papers and in place of a Discharge therof to him conforme to his receipt of the same to the Lord secretary.
