Warrant
Warrand for bringing horses from Ireland to the Lord Carmichaels regiment
The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Considering that the Lord Carmichaell is Levying a regiment of dragoons for their Majesties service And that the said Lord may be straitned In getting horses to these dragoons by reasone of the Late proclamation of Councell Discharging the Importing of Catle or horses from Ireland They heirby allow the said Lord Carmichaell to Cause transport or Import from Ireland to this kingdome such horses as he shall stand in need of for the service of his dragoons not uithstanding of the said proclamatione And authorizes him to signe warrands or passes to particular persons for Importing the saids horses And discharges David Craufurd of Drumsuie or any under him Intrusted for seing the Contents of the said proclamatione made effectuall to trouble molest or Impede the Importing of the horses forsaids The passes aluayes Containing the Number of the horses to be Imported
