Act Liberating Jean Inch Janet Johnstoune Marion Logan and Agnas Dicksone
The Lords of their Majesties privie Councill Having Considered the petitione of Jean Inch and Janet Houstoune Representing they have been Imprisoned in the tolbooth of Edinburgh the space of Eighteen months for alleadged using and passing of false Coyne and of Marion Logan representing she hes been Imprisoned in the same tolbooth by the space of thretty five months for the same alleadged Crymes And of Agnas Dicksone Representing she hes been Imprisoned in the said tolbooth the space of tuenty tuo months for alleadged witchcraft And that they have addressed the Lords of Justiciary and nothing is done against them And the Lord Advocat Having declared that he had noe probatione against the saids persons who are in a starving condition The saids Lords of their Majesties privy Councill Doe heirby Give ordor and warrand to the magistrats of Edinburgh and keeper of their tolbooth to sett the above persons at Liberty For which this shall be to all persons concerned a sufficient warrand
