[Gilbert Mcgie to remain prisoner in Canongate tolbooth]

The Lords of their Majesties privy Councell doe heirby superceed to Give ansuer to the petitione given in to them Be Gilbert Mcgie prisoner in the tolbooth of the Cannongate And in the mean tyme discharges the magistrats of Edinburgh Baillies of the Cannongate and keeper of their tolbooth to delyver the petitioner to the persone by whom he uas Incarcerat But ordaines them to detaine the said petitioner uithin their tolbooth untill the petitione be Considered and Interloquitor given theron determining the subject matter of the same
