Act Androw Plumber of Midlestead anent accompts.
The Lords of their majesties privy Councill haveing Considered a report of a Committie of ther oun number for revising the accompts resting be their majesties forces to the Countrey Bearing that the said Committie haveing Considered the accompt given in as resting to Androw Plumber of Midlstead with the instructione and verifications therof They Find it suficiently verified and proven be the oath and depositione of the said Androw Plumber and by the report of the Commissioners of Supply within the shyre of Tiviotdale and by a note under the hand and subscriptione of Captaine James Colt the deceast Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragoons all which instructiones were produced to and Considered by the said Committie That the said Androw Plumber hade the number of fourty horsses belonging to the said regiment in the parks meadowes and other Grass belonging to him within the paroch of Bouden for the space of Twentie dayes and twentie nights And it is allowed to the said Androw for each of the saids horsses per diem thrie shilling scots Extending in the wholl to the soume ane hundreth and twenty punds scots money And Finds that the said Grassing was preceiding the first day of February Jaj vjc nyntie years And Therfore it is the opinion of the Comittie that the said soume of ane hundreth and Twentie punds scots is to be payed to the said Androw Plumer out of the polemoney appointed by the nynth act of the fourth sessione of this Current parliament dated the twenty nynth day of may Jaj vjc nyntie thrie years and that he is to be recomended to the Lords Commissioners of ther majesties thessaurie for payment of the same accordingly as the 2 Report in it self bears The saids Lords Doe heirby approve of the above report And Recomends to the Lords Commissioners of their majesties thesaury to cause payment be made to the said Androw Plumber of the above soume of one hundreth and twentie punds Scots out of the present polmoney.
