Proclamation

Proclamatione Adjourneing the parliament

The proclamatione afterinsert was approven and signed and appoynted to be recorded whereof the tenor followeth A proclamatione adjourneing the parliament to the 13th of December 1694 William and Mary by the Grace of God King and Queen of great Brittain France and Ireland defenders of the Faith To our Lyon King at armes and his brethren Heraulds macers of our privy Councill pursevants messingers at armes our shiriffs in that part conjunctlly and severally specially constitute greeting Forasmuch as we by our proclamatione of the date the tuenty fourth day of July Last with advyce of the Lords of our privy Councill Did adjourn the Currant parliament of this our ancient Kingdome untill the tuenty fyfth day of October instant and our affairs not requyring the meeting therof at that tyme, We have thought fitt That the adjournment thereof shall be till the thretteen day of December next to come Therfore We with advyce of the Lords of our privy Councille Doe hereby Adjourn our said currant parliament untill the said thretten day of December next ensueing the date hereof Requyreing all the members of our said parliament to attend that day in the usuall way and under the certificatione contained in the severall acts of parliament made theranent Our will is Herefore and we charge you strictly and Command That incontinent these our Letters seen ye pass to the marcat cross of Edinburgh and to the marcat Crosses of the remanent head burghs of the severall shyres of this our ancient Kingdome and there by open proclamatione make intimatione That our said parliament of this Kingdome is adjourned to the said thretteen day of December next to come and ordaine these presents to be printed Given under our Signet at Edinburgh the threttie day of October and of our Reigne the sexth year sic subscribitur Tweddale Cancell Drumlanrig Southerland Morton Strathmore Leven Broadalbine Tarbatt Carmichaell James Stueart Adam Cockburn.
