At Edinburgh thursday\[615\] 29th November 1694

Act Mr Collin McKenzie

Anent the petitione given to the Lords of their Majesties privy Councill by Master Colline McKenzie Shewing That the petitioner being by ordor of the said Lords confyned within two myles of his dwelling House in the countrey and therafter by the said Lords their favorable indulgence being allowed to come in to Edinburgh and there to remaine about his necessar affaires untill the last day of November instant and now that tyme being elapsed before the said petitioner hath been able to expeed these affaires and that his Circumstances doe requyre a further enlargement which could be noe inconvenience to the publick nor of any import to any other partie and is of great consequence to the petitioner in his present straits and therfore humbly Craveing the said Lords to take the petitioners circumstances to their favourable consideratione and not only to enlarge his said confynement but lykewayes
to indulge such further tyme for the petitioners stay at Edinburgh as the said Lords should think fitt to allow as the said petitione at lenth bears
The Lords of their majesties privy Councille having considered this petitione given in to them by the said Master Colline McKenzie They Hereby declare the said petitioner to be at libertie free of any confynement He first giveing bond and finding sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privy Councill That he should appear before the Lords of their majesties privy Councille when called for and in the mean tyme That He should live peaceablie under and with all submissione to the present goverment of their majesties King William and Queen Mary and that He shall not act consult nor contryve any thing in prejudice thereof nor converse or correspond with any Rebells under the penalty of fyve thousand merks scots money in case he should transgress in any part of the premisses
