Att Edinburgh the fourth day of Apryle Jaj vic nyntie four years

Anent the petition given into the Lords of their Majesties privie Councell By Androu Edmonstoune of Ednem Sheuing That wher In consideration of the Indispositione and bad state of health The petitioner was under while prisoner at Blacknes Their Lordships were graciously pleased to allow him Libertie untill the fifteenth of Apryle And seing the petitioners health is rather worse then better In so much that he is not able to sturr out of his Chamber door uithout dainger of his Life and that their Lordships may adjurne for some tyme And therfore Humbly Craving their Lordships to allow the petitioner furder Libertie untill it please god to Grant him health And he is Content to find Caution to appear before their Lordships or Enter himself in prisone under what penaltie the saids Lords shall think fitt as the said petition Bears The saids Lords of their Majesties privie Councill Having Considered this petition given in to them by the above Androu Edmonstoune with the Certificat of the petitioners Indispositione produced theruith They heirby allow the petitioner to be at Libertie And Confynes him to the toune of Edinburgh and tuo mylls about the same untill he recover his Indispositione And how soon he recovers Confynes him to the house of Ednem And2 tuo mylls about the same And discharges him to goe uithout the bounds therof untill he be Called or requyred to appear before the Lords of privie Councell In respect the petitioner before extracting heirof Hath Given bond and found sufficient Caution acted in the books of privie Councell That he shall appear before the saids Lords of privie Councell whensoever he shall be Called or requyred therto And In the mean tyme that he shall keep his said Confynment and not goe without the bounds of the samen And that he shall Live peacably under and uith all submission to the present government of their Majesties King William and Queen Mary And that he shall not Act Consult nor Contryve any thing in prejudice therof nor Converss or Correspond uith any rebells under the penaltie of five Thousand merks scotts In caise he shall transgress In any pairt of the premisses
