Warrand to the Lord Advocat to wryte to shirreffs anent the defecient Levys
The Lords of their Majesties privy Councell Doe heirby Recommend to Sir James Steuart their Majesties Advocat to wryte to the shirreffs of the severall shires uithin this Kingdome That they Cause make up such of the Levys uithin their bounds as the shire hath been deficient in and which they have not delyvered Conforme to the orders and proclamations of Councell And to Cause transport the saids deficients to the places and delyver them to the persons and upon the dayes all aftermentioned viz These on this syde of the river of Tay at Glasgow upon the tuenty fourth day of Apryle instant and these on the other syde of Tay to the toune of Stirling upon the Eight day of May nixt to the Commanding officers for the tyme being uithin the saids touns respective and that the persons to be delyvered be transported and Intertained untill delyvery att the expensses and upon the Charge of such as have been deficient and to Certifie the shirreffs That these Lyable to send their deficients shall In caise of failzie be punished in dowble the penaltie Contained in the proclamations and Instructiones published theranent
