John Burd one of the present Baillies of Stirling and John Reid Deacon Conveener of the trades in that burgh Did Give in at the Counsell Board a recept granted by James Traill Ensigne in the Castle of Stirling In absence of the storemaster being sick to the magistrats of Stirling for seven old unfixed matchlock musquetts and ane old unfixed fyrelock The Lords of his majesties privie Councell Doe heirby Discharge the saids magistrats of all arms seased by them from persons not qualified by taking the oath of alleadgance and assurance
