Recommendatione to the Lord Advocat to pursue some persons for a rapt at Glasgow

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Being Informed of a Rapt Committed under night by some persons upon a young woman in the Green of Glasgow They heirby appoint Sir James Steuart his Majesties Advocat to Intent and prosecute a Criminall proces Against such persons as he has Ground to suspect to be Guiltie of the said Crime And that before the Lord Justice Generall Lord Justice Clerk and Lords Commissioners of his Majesties justiciary according as his Lordship shall find Evidence against the persons so to be pursued at as said is.
