Procedure

Anent a proclamation against Forstallers and regraters and Importing Forraign victuall

Sir James Steuart his Majesties Advocat, having represented to the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill That the Committie appointed by their Lordships to have drawen a proclamation against regraters and Forstallers of victuall and anent Importatione of victuall have not mett And that his Lordship hes Drawen a draught of a proclamation which being read The saids Lords Doe heirby the Lord Advocat and Lord Justice Clerk to the Committie formerly appointed in this affair And Recommends to them to Consider the draught given in by the Lord Advocat And to prepare a new draught or amend the old one And in the proclamation To recommend to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties Thesaury not to exact any deutie for the victuall to be Imported into this Kingdome During the space in the proclamatione And to report the proclamatione to the Councell And Recommends to them to meet the morrow at nyne in the fornoon And Continoues their Quorum as formerly
