Warrand for Delyvering Mcnaughtan and Mcgrigor to Captain Campbell
The Lord Advocat having acquanted the Councell that Finlay Mcnaughton and John Mcgrigor prisoners in the tolbooth of Glasgow were by a former order of Councell appointed to be delyvered to some officers as souldiers And that these officers have never called for them so that the toune is at expences in mantaining them And that they are Content to goe abroad as souldiers uith Captain Coline Campbell in the Lord Lorns regiment The Lords of his Majesties privie Councell Doe heirby Give order and warrand to the magistrats of Glasgow and Keeper of their tolbooth to sett the saids Finlay Mcnaughton and John Mcgrigor to Libertie furth of their tolbooth And appointes them upon payment of their necessar expences to delyver them to the said Collin Campbell to be Carryed abroad by him as souldiers in the forsaid regiment And alloues his Majesties Advocat to signifie this to the magistrats of Glasgow in a Lyne And ordaines the officer who receavs the saids tuo persons to pay the expences of their house dues and others Contracted and resting by them since their Imprisonment
