Warrand for Committing the Duke of Gordon

Forasmuch as his Majestie by his Letter of the first of December instant has given nottice of ane Invasion designed from France upon which The Duke of Gordon is putt under Centinells In his oune Lodging The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Give order and warrand to the Captain of the toune of Edinburghs Company of Guards And In his absence to the nixt Commanding officer their To Convey the said Duke of Gordon under a sufficient guard to the Castle of Edinburgh And Recommends to and requires the Earle of Leven Constable and Governour of the said Castle And In his absence Gives order and warrand to the nixt Commanding officer ther To receave and detaine the said Duke prisoner therein till farder order of Councill.
