Act and Remitt The Viscount of Tarbatt and his Tenants.

The Lords of their Majesties Privy Councill Haveing Considered the report from the Commissioners of Supplie in the Shyres of Ross and Cromarty Report the claimes given in be these shyres for what is due to them for quarters and localitie furnished to the forces dureing their quartureing in these shyres and that in swae far as concernes the debts resting to the Viscount of Tarbatt or his tenants Togither with a report of their oun number appointed for reviseing of the accounts resting be the forces to the Countrey and particularly for reviseing the claimes given in be The said shyres They Find by report of the said Committie And by the report of the Commissioners from the said shyres every way conforme to the proclamationes of Councill made theranent That the particulars following and reported due to the Viscount of Tarbats tenants viz of cropt Jaj vjc Eightie nyne to the Magizine of Innvernes twentie thrie bolls oats at four pund six shilling the boll and six hundred and nyntie seven stone of straw at two shilling per stone Item of cropt Jaj vjc nynty to the said magazine from Cromartie ten bolls thrie Firlotts Oats pryce forsaid, And two hundreth and threttie five ston straw also pryce forsaid Item for meall in Cromarty to Captain William Cuninghams Company in Coll Cunninghame his regiment Threttie four pund Fiftein shilling, And twentie two pund ten shilling for oat meall and for grass in all Eight pund Item to Major Stewarts troop in Tayne nyntein bolls oats pryce forsaid, And five hundreth and seventie ston of straw also pryve forsaid Item to the said forces in Tayne from Lochflin and Tarrell ten bolls thrie firlots oats and thrie hundreth and twentie thrie ston of straw both pryve forsaid Item of meat and provisione to Captain Nathaniall Gordon in Kenmuires Regiment in Cromarty one hundreth thretie four pund sixtein shilling and of meall to the said Captaine Eight bolls one Firlot at six pund per boll Item from New Tarbat to Corporall Reid in Captain Burnets Troop for oats six punds Eight Shilling sent to Taine, more to him six bolls and a half of oats And Seventie Eight stone of straw pryve forsaid Item to the tenents of New Tarbat and Pitinaduthie for meat and drink to Coll Cuningham2 Captain Mckay and one Robert Hamiltone their Companies as per particulars Extending to one hundreth and sixtie four pund fourtein shilling Item by the tennants of Easter Tarbat to the Lord Yesters troop and Coll Livingstounes regiement and my Lord Strathnavers officers all at Tain twentie two bolls one firlott oats pryce forsaid Anno Jaj vjc Eightie nyne Six hundreth and Fiftie four stone of straw pryce forsaid Item by Corporall Browne with a Company of my Lord Strathnavers regiment Did take from James Mckenzie tenant to the Viscount of Tarbat fourtie five bolls meall at six pund per boll Item for meat to Eight Souldiers in Strathnavers regiment for Eight dayes at four shilling per diem Item from Gaines and Losline five bolls oates and ane hundreth and fourscore ston of straw both pryve forsaid Item for meat to one hundreth men for five dayes to Captain Mckayes Company in Strapaffer One hundreth pund Item taken by Captain Mckay from Keneth Mckenzie tenant to Tarbat fourtie bolls oates and sixtein bolls bear at five merks the boll of Oats and Eight merks the bolls of bear, Item to George Gordon in Grants regiement twelue bolls meall at six pund per boll all quhich particulars abovespecified Extends to one Thousand Eight Hundred and fourtein punds scots besydes Fourtie two horsses thrie Cowes many potts panns plaids and sheep and utincells proven to be taken by the Souldiers and the wasting of his house in Fabrick and Furnitur They heirby Recomend to their Lords Commissioners of their majesties thesaurie to cause payment be made to the said Viscount of Tarbat and his tennents of the said soume off One Thousand Eight hundreth Fourtein punds Scots for corne and straw and money for meattt and drink to the forces out of the proper Fonds appointed for that effect
