Recomendation to Comittie anent the Disorders of the Collodge of Edinburgh.

The Lords of their majesties privy Councill haveing heard the Report given in to them be the magistrats of Edinburgh and the masters of the Collodge therof for preventing of Tumults and Disorders among the Students read in their presence They heirby Recommend to the Committie formerly appointed in this matter To prepair the draught of ane act for preventing the saids Tumults and abusses under the paine of Imprisonment or such pecunniall Mults as the said Committie shall think fit And Recomends to them to Consider the act of Councill of the date the […] day of […] Jaj vjc seventie two years And prepair a new Act with such amendaments as they shall think fit and present both to the Councill at their nixt meeting And Adds the Lord Carmicheall the Laird of Blackbarony and Grant to the forsaid Comittie and Continues the quorum as formerly And Recomends to them to meet the morrow at ten in the forenoon.
