Recommendatione to Sir Thomas Livingstoune to wryte anent boats going and coming Into the Bass
Their Majesties High Commissioner and Lords of privie Counsell Doe Heirby Recommend to Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander in cheiff of their Majesties forces uithin this Kingdome To wryte to the Commanding officer of the Guairds at Castletoune That He Inquyre and take tryall How it comes to pass that boats doe Come from and returne to the Island of the Bass uithout Interruptione Notwithstanding of that Guaird and of the Dogar appoynted for keeping In the rebells in that Island And to examine the Captaine or Commander of the said dogar and take tryall of his deportment in keeping watch upon these rebells And Recommends to the said Sir Thomas Livingstoune to report his dilligence herin to the Councell
