Liberatione John Lothiane

The Lords of there majesties privie Councill haveing considered the examinatione taken anent Ensigne John Lothian his being present with the rabble in the late tumult in Edinburgh They hereby Give order and warrand to the magistrats of Edinburg bailzies of the Canongate and Keeper of there tolbooth To sett at Liberty the said Ensigne John Lothian furth thereof he first renewing his former baill given to the Lords of privie Councill for his peaceable behaviour in the comon forme And for his appearance befor the saids Lords when called for under the penalty of ane Hundreth pounds sterling And upon the renewing of this baill ordaines the former bond to be given up.
