Recomendation to Sir Thomas Livingston for sending detatchments to the Castle of Edinburgh

The Lords of their Majesties privy Councill Doe heirby Recomend to Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander in Cheiff of their majesties forces within this Kingdome to send such detatchments of their majesties foot souldiers as shall be agreed upon betwixt the said Sir Thomas and the Earle of Leven governor of the castle of Edinburgh to attend and keep guard within the said castle with the Garisone ther, And to releive them by the like number dayly each twentie four hours for securitie of prisoners in the said castle, Untill furder order of Councill.
