Comittees warrand for Liberating Alexander Crawfurd

The Lords of the Comittee of privie Councill doe hereby give order and warrand to the Magistrats of Edinburgh Bailzies of the Canongate and Keeper of there tolbooth to sett at liberty Alexander Crawfurd maltman in Gilstoun furth thereof who is dilated to the said Comittee as a resetter of theeves and robbers (Anent whom they are appoynted to take tryall) The said Alexander Crawfurd first giveing bond and finding sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privie Councill or there said Comittee when Called for under the penalty of Ane Thousand merks scotts and ansuer to what shall be Laid to his charge Sic subscribitur Cardross Carmichaell Adam Cockburne
