Comittie to attend the roup of the new Imposition of 2 dr upon the pynt of aile to the toune of Edinburgh

The Lords of their Majesties privy Councill Considering that by the act of parliament dated the thretein day of June instant Granted and allowing a new Imposition to the toune of Edinburgh of two penies upon ilk pynt of aile It is Declared that it shall be Leisome to the Magistrats and Councill of Edinburgh to ferme and sett in tack the said Impositione be way of publict roup to the best advantage for as many years and termes as shall be agreed to, which by the said act they are oblidged to doe at the sight of the Lords of their Majesties privy Councill or such as they shall appoint, And the saids Lords being informed that the saids magistrates and Councill are about to ferme and sett in tack the said Impositione be way of publict roup for some certaine space on the […] day of June instant Therfore they heirby Recomend to the Earles of Linlithgow and Anandale and the Lord Hatton to be present with the saids Magistrats and Councill in makeing of the said roup, And ordaines the same to be made at their sight.
