Act Changing The Viscount of Stormonts Confynment

Anent the petitione Given In to the Lords of their Majesties privy Councell Be David Viscount of Stormont Sheuing That the petitioner being formerly under baill before their Lordships to appear when called for Accordingly He was charged in May last to appear before the saids Lords And upon his appearance was Confyned to the toune of Glasgow and three mylls about it wher He hath remained ever since To the Great prejudice ruine and Loss of his privat affairs and particular Intrests And now the petitioners Lady proving verie valitudinary being bigg uith chyld and neer the tyme of her being delyvered And that the petitioners presence to attend her in her tender conditione would prove exceedingly Comfortable unto her and is very christian and necessar and is earnestly desyred by her And that the petitioner hes alwayes Lived quietly and peacably And is Content upon the chainge of his Confynment from Glasgow to his oune House at Scone and to what Circuit and distance about it as their Lordships shall think fitt to find sufficient Cautione not only to Live peacably in tyme Coming But also to keep his Confynment and appear before their Lordships when called for And therfore Humbly Craving to the effect underwryten as the said petitione Bears The saids Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Having Considered this petitione Given in to them Be the above Viscount of Stormont They Heirby allow the petitioner to transport himself from the toune of Glasgow to his oune house at Scone And ordaines him to remaine Confyned at his oune house and a myll about the same on that syde of the uater of Tay In respect the petitioner before his removing from the toune of Glasgow Hes Given bond and found sufficient Cautione acted in the Books of privie Councell that he shall repaire to his said house at Scone uithin ten dayes after the date bond to be Given be him And that he shall remaine Confyned at his said house of Scoon and a mylle about the same as said is And not Goe uithout the bounds of his said Confynment And that he shall Live peacably under and uith all submissione to the present Government of their Majesties King William and Queen Mary And that he shall not Act consult nor Contryve anything in prejudice therof nor Converss or Correspond uith rebells And that he shall appear before the Lords of their Majesties privie Councell when called for under the penaltie of ane Thousand five Hundreth pounds sterline In caise He shall transgress in any part of the premisses
