Warrand For Liberating four preists at Edinburgh and Blackness

The Lords of their Majesties privy Councell Doe heirby Recommend to the Earle of Linlithgow Governour of the castle of Blackness And Gives ordor and uarrand to Leivt William Erskine Deputy Governour therof And in his absence to the nixt Commanding officer ther To sett at liberty furth of the said castle Mr Stephen Maxuell present prisoner therin alleadged to be a popish preist And sicklyke Gives ordor and uarrand to the Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of their tolbooth to sett at liberty Mr George Gordoune Mr Robert Davidsone and Mr Alexander Creichtoune presentlie prisoners In the said tolbooth also alleadged to be popish preists In respect the saids persones and each of them before extracting heirof Hath Given bond and found sufficient Cautione that they shall transport themselves furth of their Majesties Dominiones in the fleet under the Convoy of the man of war now lying in the road of Leith called […] And that betuixt and the tuenty day of May nixt to Come and sooner if the said man of warr and Fleet under his Convoy shall saile before that tyme or otherwayes that they shall present themselves to the Lord High Chancellor of this kingdome the said day under the penaltie of ane Hundreth pounds Sterline for each of them In case they shall transgress In any part of the premisses And declares that ane Extract of thir presents shall be a sufficient pass to the forenamed prisoners
