Recomendation to the Lord Advocat to draw a Letter to the King anent the contract for furnishing the forces and offeres thereanent

The Councill recomends to the Lord Advocat to prepare the draught of a letter from the Councill to the Secretary of state to be Communicat to the Kings majestie Giveing a full accompt of the Contract past betuixt the Lords of the theasury and the Commissary Generall for furnishing the forces forces2 horse and dragoons at fyve shilling per diem for oats and straw And how farr that bargain is perfected And Lykewayes that there is ane offer made by the Lord Justice clerk and others to furnish the said forces at Four shillings scotts per diem and Lay at his majesties feet what is to be done in this matter and recomends to the Lord Justice Clerk to attend the Lords of theasary anent his offer
