Recomendation to the Lord Chancellor to returne the Councills thanks to the magistrats of Dumbar for seizing boatts goeing to the Bass

The Lord High Chancellour acquanted the Councill that some persones are seized and by the Magistrats of Dumbar sent in to this place for haveing furnished a boat full of coalls to the rebells in the Bass And that his Lordship hes desyred the Lords Advocat and Justice Clerk to examine the persones seized And that this is the second tyme the magistrats of Dumbar have testifyed there care and affectione to the government by seizing persones who hade been with the rebells in the Bass The Councill recomends to the Lord High Chancellour to returne the thanks of the boord to the magistrates of Dumbar for there good service.

Recommendation to the lord chancellor to return the council’s thanks to the magistrates of Dunbar for seizing boats going to the Bass

The lord high chancellor acquainted the council that some persons are seized and sent in to this place by the magistrates of Dunbar for having furnished a boat full of coal to the rebels in the Bass and that his lordship has desired the lords advocat and justice clerk to examine the persons seized and that this is the second time the magistrates of Dunbar have testified their care and affection to the government by seizing persons who had been with the rebels in the Bass. The council recommends to the lord high chancellor to return the thanks of the board to the magistrates of Dunbar for their good service.
