Letter From The Secretary Anent the pryces of Corne and straw Tuo Fryggotts to the Firth Comission for Searching Scotts Shipps and to process Calder

A letter from James Johnstoun Esquire secretary of state To the Lord High Chancellor Giving account that the Kings Majestie as to the Corne and straw and grass for the army hes wrote to the Thesaurie to Conclude with Broomhall That he hes referred the Justiciary of Highlands and jurisdictione of Innerlochie to the parliament That tuo frygotts uill be sent to the mouth of the firth and the Commissiones authorizing the search of scotts shipps under the pretence of traffiquing with France will be recalled And that It is the Kings pleasure that Mr Calder and all In such practises be proceeded against according to Law Redd and Recommended to the Lord Advocat to raise a process Conforme to the Letter And appoyntes Calder to be processed before the Lords of Justiciary.
