Warrand for closing the Netherbow Port

The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Doe Heirby allow the Magistrats of Edinburgh To Cause shutt the ports of the Netherbow and Cowgate of the said City as they Have been in use formerly to doe And that notwithstanding that the saids Magistrats at desyre of the Lords of privie Councell Have keeped the Leavs of these ports chained up to the walls Ever since the tumult which hapned in the begining of March last
