Certification The Sollicitor against Mr Wilson minister

The Lybell at the Instance of there Majesties sollicitor againest Mr James Lautie minister at Chirnsyde and severall other ministers in the shyre of Berwick being this day called In presence of the Lords of there Majesties privie Councill And Sir James Stewart there Majesties advocat Compearing personally for there Highness Interest And the haill defenders (2except Mr George Wilsone minister at Woolstruther Compeiring also personally The Saids Lords Grants certificatione againest the said Mr George Wilson for his absence and not Compearance And ordaines Letters to be direct to messengers at armes to pass to the mercat croce of […] and other places needfull And there in there majesties name and authority Duely lawfully and orderly denunce the said Mr George Wilsone there majesties rebell and put him to the horne And ordaine all his moveable goods and gear to be escheitt and Inbrought to there majesties use for his contemptione and dissobedience And the rest of the saids defenders being examined upon the points of the Lybell declared conforme to there declarationes extant in process The saids Lords Superceeds the advyseing of the said process againest them or pronunceing any sentence therein untill the next councill day

Certification for the solicitor against Mr Wilson, minister

The libel at the instance of their majesties’ solicitor against Mr James Lawtie, minister at Chirnside and several other ministers in the shire of Berwick being this day called in presence of the lords of their majesties’ privy council, and Sir James Stewart their majesties’ advocate appearing personally for their highnesses’ interest, and all the defenders (except Mr George Wilson, minister at Westruther) appearing also personally, the said lords grant certification against the said Mr George Wilson for his absence and non-appearance and order letters to be directed to messengers at arms to pass to the mercat cross of […] and other necessary places and there in their majesties’ name and authority duly, lawfully and orderly to denounce the said Mr George Wilson their majesties’ rebel and put him to the horn, and they order all his moveable goods and gear to be escheat and brought in to their majesties’ use for his contempt and disobedience; and the rest of the said defenders being examined upon the points of the libel declared, according to their declarations extant in process. The said lords supersede the advising of the said process against them or pronouncing any sentence therein until the next council day.
Nota: this is booked short because the libel is inserted on the nineteenth instant at booking the decreet against the other ministers of Berwickshire therein contained.
