Warrand for Transporting John Hay to Edinburgh Tolbooth

The Lords of their majesties privy Councill haveing Considered a petition given in to them be John Hay prisoner in Blacknes Castle They heirby Appoint Sir James Lesly Comander in Cheif of his majesties forces within the kingdome for the time to cause convoy the petitioner by a guard from Blacknes Castle to the Tolbooth of Edinburgh And Appoints the Comanding officer at Blacknes to deliver the petitioner to, and the magistrats of Edinburgh and keeper of their Tolbooth to receive him from the said guard and detaine him in their tolbooth till the matter be tryed.
