Anent Earl of Lauderdaills Comeing to Scotland

Petition Countess of Lauderdaill Craveing safe Conduct to the Earle to come home and ansuer to the Lybell raised againest him befor the Councill And in the mean tyme to stopt the certification given againest the Earle Read And Appoynted the Clerks of privie Councill to seek out the records2 to know in what termes The Earle of Lauderdaill stood with the government and how he went out of the countrey And allowes the Earles freinds to condescend what baill they will offer for the Earles peaceable beahviour In case the Councill shall allow him safe conduct And that he shall appear befor the Councill the day to be insert in the safe3 conduct
