Committie for seing the Ansuers made to the Interrogatours anent a ship carryed out of Firth to England right uorded
The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Being Informed that ther is a Commissione directed from the Admirality of England to the Magistrats of Edinburgh for examining uitnesses Anent the shipp seized In the river of Forth and Carryed to England by ane English man of warr or privateers And that among the Interrogatours sent from England to be asked at the uitnesses this is one viz whither or not Scotland be a free natione Independent of the kingdome of England And whither or not the Admirall Court of Scotland be a supream Court Independent of England They Recommend to the Viscount of Tarbat Lord Register and Sir James Steuart their Majesties advocat to see the right wording and extending of the ansuer to the saids Interrogatours
