Uarrand For Imprisoning the Lord Drumcairne in the castle of Edinburgh

The uhich day The Lord Drumcairne under bale before the Lords of privie Councell That he shall Live peacably under their Majesties government and appear before the Councell when called for Being charged upon his bond to appear as said is And Having appeared accordingly and refuised to suear and sign the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance Their Majesties High Commissioner and Lords of privie Councell Doe Heirby ordaine the said Lord Drumcairne to Enter himself prisoner within the Castle of Edinburgh betuixt tuo of the clock this afternoon And Having Given his parroll of honour verbally to the said Lord High Commissioner and Lords of privie Counsell That he should Enter prisoner as said is He was sent from the Councell barr And Recommends to the Earle of Leven principall Governour and In his absence Gives ordor and warrand to the Leivtennant Governour of the said castle of Edinburgh or nixt Commanding officer to receave the said Lord Drumcairne into the said castle and detaine him prisoner therin till farder ordor of Councell And alloues the Clarks of Councell to delyver up the bond formerly Granted by the said Lord Drumcairne and his Cautioners for his peacable behaviour and appearance when called for dated the tuenty one day of Agust Jaj vic and nyntie years
