Right Trustie and right uell Beloved Cousin and Councellor Right trustie and Entirely Beloved Cousin and Councellor Right trustie and right uell beloved Cousins and Councellors Right trustie and uell beloved Cousins and Councellors Right trustie and right uell beloved Councellors trustie and uell beloved Councellors We Greet yow uell Wheras the reall Good of our people both in their Religious and Civill Concerns Is and ever shall be verie dear unto us And that ue are Hopefull that the meeting of a Generall Assembly of the Church of that our antient kingdome may Contribute therto We Have thought fitt to appoynte a Meeting therof to be at Edinburgh the sixth day of December nixt ensuing It is therfore our will and pleasure And ue doe Heirby Requyre and authorize yow to issue furth a proclamatione In our name uith all Convenient dilligence Indicting a meeting of the said Generall Assembly to be at our said toune of Edinburgh the sixth day of December nixt to Come For doing wherof this shall be your warrand And so we bid yow Heartily fareuell Given at our Camp att St. Quintin Linnick the seventh day of September old style 1693 and of our Reigne the fifth year By his Majesties Command sic subscribitur James Stevenson
