Recomendatione to the thesaurie Elizabeth Urie

Anent a Petition given in to the Lord of their majesties privy Councill be Elizabeth Urrie relict of umquhill Mr John Hamiltone late bishope of Dunkeld Shewing That the petitioner being referred by the said Lords to the Lords of their majesties thesaurie for Causeing pay to her two hundred and fiftie punds scots which the duo due to her out of the stipend of Meigle was uplifted by Casingray and being informed that in regaird of her great trouble charge and expence, The saids Lords agreed that she should have from the Lords of thesaurie the gift of any vaccant stipend as the Kings gift And Therfore Craveing the Lords to mynd her present hard Circumstances and in leiw of the two hundred and fiftie punds to grant her a right of the vaccand stipend of the parish of Skoon for the cropt and year of god Jaj vjc nyntie two which was at his majesties gift and donatione by which her great charge and expences might be in some measure Compensated as the petitione bears The Lords of their Majesties privy Councill haveing Considered the above petition given in to them be the above Elizabeth Urrie read in their presence They doe heirby Recomend to the Lords Commissioners of their majesties thesaurie to grant the petitioner the stipend in the petition or such other stipend as they shall think fitt.
