Warrand to Give out extracts anent of the Kings Letter anent the Imposition granted to the toune of Glasgow
The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Having Heard a Letter from his royall Majestie to their Lordships Anent the Impositione upon ale and beer granted to the toune of Glasgow By ane Act of the fourth sessione of this Currant parliament determining the tyme from which the said Impositione is to Commense red in their presence Bearing date at his Majesties Camp at Lembeck the fourteenth day of Agust old style 1693 They ordaine the samen Letter to be recorded not only in the books of privie Councell But also in the books of their Majesties Exchequer and session To the end mentioned in and Conforme to the tenor of the said Letter And appoyntes the principall Letter to remaine in the hands of the Clerks of privie Counsell To whom The Saids Lords doe heirby Give ordor and uarrand to Give out extracts therof to the magistrats of Glasgow or others Concerned if they shall desyre the same
