Liberatione The Lady Largo

Anent the petitione given In to the Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Be Christian Scott Lady Largo Sheuing That the petitioner Having been apprehended and Incarcerat uithin the tolbooth of Edinburgh she hes remained ther now for the space of fyve ueeks so that pairtly by her closs Imprisonment when she went ther and the noysomness of that place Her health is exceedingly Impaired And therfore Humbly Craving their Lordships to Grant warrand and ordor for setting the petitioner at liberty furth of the said tolbooth upon her finding Cautione to ansuer when called for as the said petitione bears The saids Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Having Considered this petitione Given in to them Be the above Lady Largo They Heirby Give ordor and uarrand to the Magistrats of Edinburgh and keeper of their tolbooth To sett the petitioner att Liberty furth therof she first Giving bond and finding sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privie Councell That she shall Live peacably under and uith all submissione to the present Government of their Majesties King William and Queen Mary And that she shall not Act consult nor Contryve any thing in prejudice therof nor Converss or Correspond uith any rebells And that she shall appear before the saids Lords of privie Councell when Called for under the penaltie of ane Hundreth pounds sterline In caise she shall transgress in any part of the premisses
