Comittees warrand for Liberating James Bruce

The Comittee for examining of witnesses againest James Bruce and James Jarvie with power to Liberate both pairtyes and witnesses doe hereby give order and warrand to the magistrates of Edinburgh and Keeper of there tolbooth to sett at Liberty James Bruce in Alloway presently prisoner therein He first finding sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privie Councill that he shall Live peaceably under there Majesties government And appear when called for under the penalty of Ane Hundreth pound sterling In case he shall transgress in any pairt of the premises
