Establishment of the the Forces
The New Establishment of there Majesties forces and Garisones in Scotland Comenceing the first of Februarij Jaj vjc nyntie three read and ordered to be recorded And the principall Imediatlie2 taken back by Sir Thomas Moncreiff Clerk to the Lords of Theasurie who gave in the same Followes the tenor of the Establishment

Our Will and Pleasure is That this Establishment for our standing Forcess and garisones within our ancient Kingdome of Scotland doe Comence and take place this first day of Februarij in the fourth year of our regine From which tyme all former establishments relateing to our saids forces are to ceass and determine By his majesties Command Sic subscribitur James Johnstoun
